I always wanted one of their little buggy car things.
Inchy, this is fucking weird. I just got the hankering to listen to the Dickies version of the theme tune last week and downloaded it. When I played it for the missus, she asked where it came from so just 3 days ago I played this very same video from youtube to her, now you post it?
Weird.
Fuck off Ron, you're freaking me out now!
The Dickies version is actually pretty good, but you'll have to go some to beat Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper, and Snorky.
I can't believe she never watched the Banana Splits! Did she grow up on a kibbutz?
no, but she probably grew up in Australia. We miss out on a lot of stuff down here. :)
I always LOVED the Banana Splits ! As a kid, they were the only thing worth getting out of bed before 9AM on a Saturday morning !

Used to love the cartons they had on - The Arabian Knights springs to mind ("size of an elephant" - how I wish I had that power)...
Fnar! Fnar!
Wow, Kate. Mrs. Ron did indeed grow up in Australia, but she remembers seeing the show, but she was very young, she'd like me to point out.
