*Gasp*. Never seen Ben-Hur? I'm frankly stunned that a man with your almost encyclopedic knowledge of movies hasn't seen it. Is the story about a bicycle being visible in the chariot race scene true? I've watched it a bunch of times and have never seen it.
Ben Hur is marvellous but Planet Of The Apes still knocks ten bells out of everything else. His legendary punch up in The Big Country is another highlight for me. Great man.
Hey Inchy - we've got the same birthday! so add me to your list as well as Zac Efron from High School Musical, if you so desire ;) We're all Oct 18th-ers.
Believe me when I tell you that The Force is not strong in me.
I'm Gordon, and life here in sunny Scotland hasn't really worked out like I imagined it would. I've never been a Formula 1 champion, I've never flown in the Space Shuttle, I've yet to be asked to be a fighter pilot, and I've so far failed to be the filling in a Famke Janssen/Julianne Moore sandwich.
I was kinda hoping for more.
Still living the dream though.
As I get older, I'm finding that literally EVERYTHING annoys me nowadays, EVERYTHING was better when I was younger, and EVERYONE who is under the age of 21 should be in the Army or in bed by 9pm.
If it doesn't involve Scotland, current affairs, science, technology, music, tv, films, motorbikes, mountainbikes, girls, comedy, food, drink, more drink, or world news, then I'm just not interested.
By the way, I'm not a big Star Wars fan, sorry.

I loved the way that film brought the old testament to life. I love the old testament.
I must admit, I've haven't seen either 'The Ten Commandments' or 'Ben Hur'.
I should really do something to rectify that.

Well as poor old Charlton has shuffled off, that should mean that it'll be on tv some time soon. I'll make sure I save it.

He had that old Hollywood thing down pat; he was the man!
I agree about Planet of The Apes being awesome...that movie rocked.
Not too sure I believed in his guns stance though...
RIP Mr Charlston.
...er, and that would be Charlton.

What are the chances!
Welcome, my fellow Libran.
If it's ok with you, we'll leave Zac Efron out of this.
Anyway, I look forward to such cinematic gems as 'Earthquake' and 'Soylent Green' gracing our small screens sometime soon.
Yes, yes...but what about the bicycle?
Ok, we're going to have to throw this out to a wider audience.
Does ANYONE know if a bicycle is visible in the movie 'Ben Hur'?

Wow, the swap-shop number...
Ok Ron, let's test your memory.
Can you remember the name of the band that featured Noel Edmonds, maggie Philbin, and Keith Chegwin, and what was their single called?
No Googling!
'C'Mon Inchy, you're talking of course of the fabulous Brown Sauce and their hit single Winner or something similar
Give that man a cigar!
The single was called 'I just wanna be a winner', and it was shite.
