Thank fuck that one of the few truly great tv shows made by ANY British television network is back for another series on our screens. It's been a long 6 months or so without my regular Thursday night fix of Dara and the boys, and last nights show hit the ground running with Russell Howard and the invincible Frankie Boyle being stand outs for me.
The sooner that tv executives realise that THIS is entertainment, not shite like Big Brother or Lily Allen And Friends, the better our world will become.

Fact.

I adore that programme ... which makes it all the more upsetting that I missed it this week :(
And, please, don't suggest I download it on iPlayer ... not with my Net connection currently clocking in at something under 0.2Mbps.
Totally agree. Frankie wipes the stage with all of them. Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats (even with Jimmy Carr) and Would I Lie To You... a glut of decent comedy at last. Thank God given how dire TV is at the moment...
Agreed.
Frankie Boyle was fucking well ON FIRE this week! That joke about watching online footage of Saddam Hussein being hanged and thinking, "Is there nothing I won't masturbate to on the internet?" was THE funniest thing I've heard in a long, long time. I was absolutely crying with laughter at that and it took me a good ten minutes, at least, to stop!
Hugh Dennis was definitely being carried by Frankie. He shines on that show.
You don't have too strong an opinion either way, then?
absolute fact in fact.
